MARISE SAHYOUN, M.Ed.

Director, Mahoning Valley Lifelong Learning Institute

Marise joined Ohio Living Park Vista in November of 2013 and is responsible for all aspects of the Mahoning Valley Lifelong Learning Institute. She will identify appropriate adult education learning opportunities, secure and facilitate educators/speakers, analyze results and implement appropriate operational adjustments.

Marise will participate in long-range planning and goal development for the Institute as well as assess needs and implement relevant programming. Marise will work with the Institute Advisory Board to develop and evaluate the annual curriculum. She will maintain relationships with Institute Partners for mutual benefit of all organizations and seek additional partnerships to grow the Institute. She will serve as a liaison with surrounding communities in the Mahoning Valley and various professional groups affiliated with the Institute.

Her experience in education and marketing have taken her from Dallas, Texas, to the Mahoning Valley in positions with Fidelity National Flood Services, The Dallas Morning News, Crowley Independent School District, Grand Prairie Independent School District, and Senior Independence Home Health and Hospice.

Marise holds Master of Education in teaching and Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington.
